The MPB high-power mode-locked femtosecond fiber laser operates in the spectral range of 920 nm to 1190 nm. It has traditionally been covered by ultrafast Ti:sapphire lasers and optical parametric oscillators. It generates nearly transform-limited pulses with a pulse width of 200 fs, a repetition rate of 80 MHz, and an average power of 1 W in linear polarization.
